Yellow Jacket Golf Classic And Auction To Be Held June 25

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University Yellow Jacket Golf Classic & Auction presented by the Stadium Sports Grill will be held on Saturday, June 25,  2011 at the Spearfish Canyon Country Club in Spearfish, S.D.

“The golf tournament and auction are two great events that allow people to support our student-athlete scholarship fund,” said Director of Athletics Jhett Albers.  “The proceeds from the tournament benefit the student-athletes at Black Hills State.  We would like to thank the Stadium Sports Grill for the being this year’s title sponsor and helping make these events possible.”

The check-in and the putting contest for the Yellow Jacket Golf Classic will begin at 11 a.m. at the Spearfish Canyon Country Club.  The golf tournament will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start.  The cost to enter the tournament is $125 and includes a ticket to the prime rib dinner and auction.

The Yellow Jacket Auction will start at 6:30 p.m. with a prime rib dinner and a silent auction.  The live auction will take place at 7 p.m.  Admission to the auction is free, however, for those wishing to have dinner, the cost is $25.
