BHSU To Host Full Slate Of Events At Upcoming Basketball Games

Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University basketball games being held this weekend will feature a variety of activities.

On Friday, January 21 the Harding County Drill Team will be performing at halftime of the men’s and women’s basketball game against Dickinson State.  The Black Hills State University dance team will also be performing at halftime of the men’s game.  Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. MT for the women and 7:30 p.m. MT for the men.

The Yellow Jackets will return to the hardwood on Saturday, January 22 to take on Minot State with game times set for the women at 4 p.m. MT with the men following at 6 p.m. MT.  Saturday night’s games are sponsored by Pioneer Bank and Trust.  Pioneer Bank and Trust will be giving away 400 shirts to fans as they enter the games as well as prizes for fans throughout the evening’s contests.  Halftime entertainment during the men’s basketball game will include a Zumba performance by the Zumba fitness class offered at the Donald E. Young Center.  The Black Hills State dance team will perform during halftime of the men’s game.
 
In addition to the contests and giveaways this weekend, Black Hills State will also be hosting a t-shirt sale featuring BHSU athletic shirts with many different designs and sizes available all shirts will be prices under $10 each.
