BHSU To Run 19th Annual Stadium Sports Grill Alumni Mile

Spearfish, S.D. - Black Hills State University alumni, including former track & field and cross country athletes, are encouraged to participate in the 19th annual Alumni Mile weekend, January 28 and 29.

“This event allows for our current student-athletes to connect with athletes from the past,” said head track and field coach Travis Covey.  “The support from the Stadium Sports Grill helps make this event possible.”

On Friday, January 28, the ‘warm-up’ will take place with an evening social at the Stadium Sports Grill (after the high school invitational track meet).

On Saturday, January 29, the ‘starting line’ of the race begins at 12:15 p.m. in the Donald E. Young Sports & Fitness Center Field House preceding the Dave Little Invitational college track meet.

Following the alumni mile race and the men's and women's college mile races, will be ‘finish line’ activities with lunch being served in the Yellow Jacket Hall of Fame room sponsored by the Stadium Sports Grill.
