Black Hills State University Holding Send-Off For Track And Field Teams

Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University will hold a send-off for the men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams on Tuesday, March 1 at 9 a.m. in the Young Center.

“The student-athletes on the men’s and women’s track teams have had a tremendous season,” said Director of Athletics Jhett Albers.  “Tomorrow morning is a chance for fans to wish them well as they head off to the national meet.”

Black Hills State will be competing at the NAIA Track and Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio on March 3-5.  The women’s team won the Dakota Athletic Conference title and the men’s team placed second.  Fans are encouraged to stop by the Young Center and wish the team well as they embark on the trip.
