Johnson Named DAC Player Of The Week

Spearfish, S.D. – Dakota Athletic Conference officials announced today that Will John Johnson has been named the men’s basketball player of the week.

Johnson, a native of Whitewood, S.D., posted his 10th and 11th double-doubles of the season this past weekend.  He scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the Yellow Jackets’ 87-76 victory over Mayville State of Friday night.  Johnson came back on Saturday against Dakota State to score 14 points and snare 17 boards in only 25 minutes of play.  Black Hills State defeated Dakota State 81-63.

The Yellow Jackets will face Dickinson State on Friday, January 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Spearfish.  Tickets are available at the gate.
