Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University added Spearfish, S.D. native Baker Diede to the 2011-12 roster on Friday.

Diede placed fourth for the Spartans at the 2011 South Dakota AA state track and field meet in the 400-meter run in a time of 50.39 seconds.

"We are very pleased that Baker will be a part of our program," said head cross country coach Scott Walkinshaw.  "He has a tremendous upside.  Baker is a good student-athlete who competes well and is willing to put in the necessary training to be successful."
