Black Hills State University Softball to Wrap-Up 2012 Season at Home
Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University softball team will finish the 2012 campaign this weekend with six home games in a three day span. The Yellow Jackets will square off against Regis (Colo.) on Saturday at 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. and Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., followed by two games against Minot State on Monday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. MT.
This weekend's activities will include Parent Appreciation Weekend, Fan Appreciation Day, and Senior Recognition Day.
Black Hills State University will recognize the parents and families of the Yellow Jacket softball players between the first and second games on Saturday.
The first 50 fans at Saturday's game will receive a free T-shirt for showing their support for the Yellow Jacket softball team as they finish their first season in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), sponsored by Wolff's Plumbing and heating.
Black Hills State will recognize their two seniors Katie Wagner and Karly Ackermann at Monday's contests. The first 100 fans to shake their hands and congratulate them on their careers between games will receive a free sloppy joe.
The Yellow Jackets will take to the diamond, tomorrow Saturday, April 21 with the first pitch being scheduled for 12 noon MT.
