Holmes Named All-Conference

Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University sophomore Brandi Holmes has been named to the Dakota Athletic Conference women's golf all-conference team for her efforts during the 2010-2011 season.

Holmes, a native of Cody, Wyo., has been an all-conference selection in each of the past two seasons.  This season, her best finish came at the Minot State Invitational on Sept. 26-27 when she won the individual tournament title.  Her best round came at the Palace City Classic on Oct. 1 when she posted a score of 81.

"Brandi works really hard," said head coach Jaime Bentley.  "I am glad that she was able to be recognized by the conference for her efforts this season."

Black Hills State wrapped up the 2010-2011 season on April 21, finishing third in the BHSU Invitational.
