Black Hills State University Golf Adds Decker

Spearfish, S.D. – Black Hills State University head golf coach Jaime Bentley announced the signing of Hayley Decker to the Yellow Jackets 2012-2013 golf team. Decker will graduate from Spearfish High School this year where she was awarded six varsity letters for her efforts on the course.

"We are very excited to have Hayley join our golf team for next season," said Bentley. "She will bring the type of competitiveness and work ethic that we want for the Yellow Jacket golf team."

Decker started her high school career early by joining the Spartan golf team as a 7th grader and immediately made an impact leading the Spartans in scoring average as a 7th grader and has continued to be the Spartans most consistent golfer.

Decker has developed into one of the best golfers in the area over her 6 year career and has earned numerous top 10 performances along with a handful of medalist honors.  The Spearfish girl's golf team has improved greatly during her career and that is a direct reflection of her ability as a golfer and a team leader.
