Interviews
Members of the media wishing to conduct interviews, not in a post-game setting, are asked to contact a member of the BHSU Athletic Communications staff. If an interview is desired with a player, the athletic communications office will have that player contact the media. For coaches, weekday mornings are generally the best time and should be scheduled through the athletic communications office.
Post-game Procedures
Post-game interviews with Black Hills State coaches and players will be conducted following a 10-minute "cooling-off" period. Members of the sports information staff will be available to assist in arranging post-game interviews. Football and basketball coaches will not be available until after their radio interview. Complete statistical packets will be disseminated to the media as soon as they are completed following the game.
Game Day Services for Media
Media are invited to work in the designated areas of respective Black Hills State venues. Seating is very limited, so we ask that you please contact the respective sport contact at least three days prior to an upcoming event to arrange a spot, otherwise seating will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Wireless internet is available at most facilities. Working members of the media will be provided with game notes and flip card. Statistics will be provided at appropriate breaks and at the conclusion of the game.
