Nate Butts joined the Yellow Jackets in July 2021 as the Graduate Assistant-Cornerbacks coach with the football program.

Prior to BHSU, Butts most recently coached defensive backs at Ridgeline High School in Millville, Utah, while he also served as the JV Head Coach. Before that, he was the Wide Receivers Coach at Bluffton High School in South Carolina.

Butts earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Utah State and is currently pursuing has master’s degree in strategic leadership at BHSU.
