participated in basketball and football for the Jackets in the early 1930s. Calvert played on the only undefeated football team in BHSU history in 1932 and played a sensational game in a 67-0 win over Billings Polytechnical on Swarm Day. He played left half and punted for the football team, and was also a steady performer on the basketball team for the Jackets.
