Hall of Fame
class of 1972, was a four-time SDIC wrestling champion and NAIA All-American. He was undefeated in four years of conference competition and had an overall collegiate record of 145-15-1. He was team co-captain during his junior and senior years. He was voted athlete of the year by the national fraternity of Phi Sigma Epsilon and listed among the "Outstanding Athletes of America." He also has numerous accomplishments during a successful coaching career, one of which was being selected as the 1987 head coach for the north team in the first annual all-star dual match at the University of Wyoming.
