began her career at Black Hills State in 1958. Smock taught all types of dance, adaptive physical education, aerobics, archery, fencing, tennis, aquatics and elementary methods. Smock was willing to help students by supervising many extracurricular activities including the cheerleading squads, dance teams, and running the concession stand. She retired from BHSU in 1992.
